A firmware-related issue has been identified that may cause certain units to become unresponsive and lock on the boot screen during startup. This may occur either immediately or after extended use. Updating the firmware is strongly recommended to ensure system reliability, security, and access to the latest features.
Issue Summary
- Affected Product: Alibi 32Ch Hybrid DVR
- Symptom: Device becomes stuck on the boot screen during startup
- Cause: Legacy firmware conflicts during system initialization
- Resolution: Updating to the latest firmware resolves the issue and prevents recurrence.
